Our Services

Speech-Language Therapy

Speech-language therapy is designed to build a child or adult's functional communication skills in the areas of articulation (speech intelligibility), comprehension, expression, and pragmatics (use of social language). Therapists often incorporate role play and social stories into their therapy sessions. Our speech pathologists are also trained in a variety of oral-motor treatment and feeding programs to assist with speech development and feeding/swallowing concerns, including "picky eaters."

Our Speech-Language pathologists have over 25 years experience and certifications in many different treatment approaches.  We believe the family is an integral part of the therapy program and provide opportunities for full involvement in their family member's therapy activities. Stroke rehabilitation therapy is also offered to adults on an out-patient basis.

Collaboration with ABA therapists, parents, occupational therapists, teachers, and school-based therapists helps to ensure all professionals and team members are "on the same page". Many of our therapists have Early Intervention certification and provide home-based services to infants birth-to-2 years of age. We also provide therapy services to children in their school settings.

Sensory Integration Therapy -
Activities of Daily Living - Fine Motor

Occupational therapy for children addresses a child’s “occupations” or the activities that he/she engages in throughout his/her day. Occupational therapy addresses a variety of skills, including, but not limited to: sensory integration, social skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive and perceptual motor skills, and self help skills.  Co-treatment with speech pathologists is available when appropriate.
